About Me
I've spent 23 years running audio and video, most of it for non-profit organizations — the kind of work where the budget is thin, the room fights you, and the event starts on time regardless. That's where I learned to make the best use of what is available and strive for excellence nevertheless.
I'm Shure and Dante licensed and I wrote Mixing Worship: The MacGyver's Guide to Church Audio — a book for people running sound with more ingenuity than gear. That same ear for detail is what I bring to a camera.
I taught myself to play all the band instruments and can play any music by ear (except orchestra/classical music).
I grew up watching my parents operate a photography studio and my educational background is in Physics and Engineering.
Outside of work, I'm a proud father of three.
